About me
Licensed mental health counselor dedicated to helping people of all ages cope with anxiety, depression, trauma, and OCD.
Hello! My name is Brianna Geoffrion and I am currently a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) providing virtual therapy services to individuals aged 5+ living in the state of Massachusetts.
My approach to therapy is person-centered and humanistic, grounded in the belief that the therapeutic relationship is the strongest predictor of therapeutic growth. This looks like me showing up to each session with an empathetic, non-judgmental stance, and a bit of authenticity to create a space where you feel safe to be yourself.
As a queer clinician, I am particularly passionate about and am committed to supporting marginalized and underserved communities through accessible mental health care. I use an intersectional lens that takes into account how the combination of social, cultural, economical, and political systems work together to influence mental health.
In addition to my work with the queer community, I frequently support individuals navigating complex trauma (C-PTSD), anxiety, depression, and OCD. While the therapeutic relationship remains at the core of my work, I also integrate techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to meet clients where they are and tailor treatment to their unique needs.
