About me
Prioritizing your mental health is a courageous step—and you don’t have to take it alone. At Henry Family Counseling Services, we offer compassionate, trauma-informed telehealth therapy that honors the connection between emotional and physical well-being. Whether you're navigating a medical diagnosis, parenting challenges, or life transitions, our practice provides a safe, supportive space to heal, grow, and feel understood.
Your emotional wellness matters—and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m Briana Henry, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 104847) and founder of Henry Family Counseling Services, Inc. I provide warm, compassionate telehealth therapy to individuals and families across California, with a focus on the powerful intersection between emotional and physical health.
My practice offers a supportive space for people of all ages and genders, with specialized care for those navigating chronic illness, medical stressors, and women’s health concerns. Whether you are living with a long-term condition, supporting a loved one, or facing complex transitions such as infertility, miscarriage, abortion, postpartum depression, or caregiver burnout—your story is welcome here. These experiences are often carried in silence, and I strive to create a therapeutic space where you feel seen, safe, and supported.
My clinical foundation began with trauma-informed care for children and adolescents, which instilled in me a deep respect for resilience and relational healing. Over time, my personal experiences—navigating my own women’s health journey and parenting a child with a chronic illness—further shaped my approach. I understand firsthand how medical stress can affect every part of life, and I bring both professional knowledge and lived empathy into each session.
At Henry Family Counseling Services, you can expect validation, empathy, and a collaborative relationship built on trust. Whether you’re processing a diagnosis, grieving a loss, balancing caregiving, or simply trying to find your footing again, we’ll work together to help you reconnect with your inner strength and move forward—right from the comfort of your home. I work from an integrative, evidence-based lens that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused strategies. Therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all—I meet you where you are, honor your lived experience, and help you develop practical tools aligned with your goals and values.
