With over a decade of experience, he earned his PsyD from the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University and completed his APA-accredited internship at Casa Pacifica for children and families. Dr. Bantel’s broad professional background spans community mental health, outpatient substance-abuse programs, schools, crisis units, hospitals, residential treatment, and private practice. He specializes in working with children, adolescents, adult men, and families, addressing a wide range of concerns—including depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, behavioral and educational challenges, substance use, and relationship conflict—through an eclectic mix of evidence-based therapies such as Play Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, REBT, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Bantel enjoys cooking, BBQing, kayaking, fly-fishing, off-roading, and spending time with family.
