About me
The bravest thing you can do is begin to understand your own story. As a black woman, a sister, a daughter and a mother; I too have been in your shoes. Throughout life we are told we have to remain strong which can hinder us emotionally and mentally. This causes anxiety, depression and negative emotions which are then taken out on the ones we love the most. I am a graduate of DePaul University with 10+ years working in the mental health field. I have been providing therapy services for 5 years.
While in therapy I do not use a one-sided approach. I make sure that this is a beneficial experience and an opportunity for growth for all of my clients. I work from a trauma lense to address relationship issues, parenting challenges and childhood trauma that are the cause of current life challenges you are facing. During my time as a therapist I have tremendously helped women of color make extravagant changes in their life by improving self-esteem, building confidence and finding the voice they thought they didn’t have. I provide a welcoming environment to come as you are. I am here to help you become the best version of YOU!
