About me
I am a therapist-in-training with support from a licensed supervisor at Daylight Therapy, I offer affordable and accessible care. Using cognitive-behavioral and person-centered approaches, I work with a wide variety of clients including members of the LGBTQ+ community, and I will equip you with tools to work through any challenges you are experiencing. I also specialize working with clients experiencing OCD and can administer ERP (Exposure Response Prevention) therapy as a treatment option.
My name is Brett, and I am excited to get to know you. Life can get heavy when you are constantly working to feel accepted, both by others and yourself. Whether you are exploring your LGBTQ+ identity, navigating a life transition, or carrying the weight of anxiety and depression, you do not have to go through it alone. As your therapist, I offer an affirming space where you can show up as you are wherever you are at. We will work together to set goals that naturally build your confidence and help you overcome any obstacles you are facing. My goal is to help you process what’s feeling heavy right now, uncover your core strengths, and set you up to fully handle whatever life brings next. If this resonates with you, feel free to schedule a free consultation call. And if you would like to continue working with me, I am also offering the first therapy session free of charge.
When I am not working as a therapist, I love staying active, whether that is working out or spending time outside no matter the season. I also love attending concerts, getting to travel whenever I can, playing video games, and expressing myself creatively whether that is through painting, photography, or playing the piano.
