I am an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping people through difficult times in their lives.

I enjoy helping people who need support to go through different aspects of life. I would love the opportunity to help you during this difficult time in your life. I have over 30 years of experience working with people as young as 13 and as old as in their 80's. I have helped those who are single and those who are married. My areas of expertise include working with those who struggle with relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, anger, low self-esteem, and communication. These are just a some of the areas I focus upon. I am also a Ceritfied Advanced Drug and Alcohol Counselor, CAADC, I have years of experience in working with people who struggle with addictions. I have helped those who are personally struggling with addicitions and their family and friends who are also affected by the addiction. For those who are seeking a faith based counselor I have years of experience in this area as well.

My sessions are usually centered around a basic dialogue between me and you reviewing your current struggles and stressors. We problem sovle together to find out the areas that need the most attention. I offer worksheets where applicable to help review the topics we discuss. I utilized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to challenge negative and irrational thoughts. We discuss the importance of a healthy balanced lifestyle and the steps to make change possible. We work together to develop short-term and long-term goals. We also work together to establish a strong support system if one is not already in place.
