About me
I am passionate about helping others and always have been. My focus has been on trauma and addiction over the past couple of years, though I have seen people with a wide array of presenting mental health concerns. I have received my certificate as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and have worked with those who have experienced complex trauma, childhood abuse, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
I specialize in trauma-informed care and complex trauma, utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also have experience working with clients in active addiction and recovery. I believe strongly in a person-centered approach with all those I see. My approach is compassionate and non-judgmental, creating a safe space for you to explore your feelings and experiences at your own pace.
