About me
I am a trauma-informed, person-centered psychotherapist. My specialization is in childhood trauma, sexual assault, DV, anxiety and first responder care such as veterans, police and those on the front line caring for our nation.
I am a mother to six children ranging in ages 26 to 11. One that just graduated MSU, one that just finished her time in the Airforce. and four keeping me busy at home. I am also a Combat medic Army veteran having served all over the world including beautiful Afghanistan. Before I would join the military, I was a 9th grade high school drop-out. Literally born on the floor of an old house in Florida. I have known poverty and abuse. The military changed my idea of who I could be.
I offer trauma informed care to my clients. Acknowledging that each human knows themselves better than I ever could. I am a facilitator to what you hold within you. The answer. The solution.
In the past I have worked with trauma survivors and through this and my own life I have come to realize that one person can change the trajectory of a person’s life. If I can be that one person, to listen empathically in a space in which you feel seen and heard, I’ve met the mark. And if I don’t make the mark- I’m so laid back I don’t mind being told. I also offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy both virtually in Michigan and Florida as well as in person in Florida.
