About me
I support clients in building resilience, strengthening emotional wellness, and creating meaningful, sustainable change in their lives.
Hello, I’m Brandy Coats—a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern who is passionate about helping individuals find healing, clarity, and confidence in their lives. I believe therapy should feel like a supportive, grounding space where you can explore your experiences without judgment and move toward a healthier, more empowered version of yourself.
My work is trauma-informed, person-centered, and rooted in compassion. I support clients navigating depression, anxiety, workplace stress, grief and loss, relationship challenges, self-doubt, and major life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of their next steps. Together, we slow things down, identify patterns, strengthen coping skills, and build a deeper sense of self-awareness and emotional resilience.
I also have a strong interest in helping clients explore identity, purpose, and career direction—especially those who feel stuck, undervalued, or misaligned in their work environments. With a background in agriculture, business, and finance, I understand firsthand how stress, burnout, and transitions can impact mental health and self-esteem. My therapeutic approach integrates CBT, mindfulness, strengths-based perspectives, and practical skills that you can use both inside and outside of sessions. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered as you work toward meaningful, sustainable change.
Whether you're healing from past experiences, navigating depression, or seeking a fresh start, I’m here to walk alongside you as you build a life that feels more grounded, connected, and aligned with who you truly are.
