About me
Relational trauma & co-dependency specialist offering depth-oriented online therapy across South Carolina
Great to meet you! Are you ready to get to work? Me too.
If you’re quietly carrying old wounds—trauma, childhood neglect, or codependency—always pleasing others and never feeling worthy, you’re not alone. Maybe you silence your needs to avoid conflict or explode in anger because you feel unseen. Living this way is exhausting, and it isn't your fault. You don’t have to do it alone.
I’m Brandon Rowsey, a Licensed Professional Counselor (#7446) and relational trauma specialist. At Oak Harbor Counseling and Consultation, I provide depth-oriented online therapy across South Carolina with a focus on attachment wounds, relational PTSD, co-dependency, and recovery from unhealthy relationship dynamics.
This isn’t a general counseling practice. We’ll build safety and regulation first, then do the deeper work—understanding repeating patterns, processing what happened, and rebuilding your sense of self, boundaries, and self-trust. I use exercises that help you process painful memories, connect with parts of yourself, and challenge unhelpful beliefs while keeping therapy grounded and actionable.
My training includes EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, psychodynamic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, and solution-focused work. My style is empowering, participatory, and direct, with an emphasis on using our relationship as a safe place to practice new patterns.
In our first session, we’ll clarify what brings you to therapy, what you want to change, and whether we’re a good fit. I also offer a free 15-minute consultation call so you can get a sense of my approach before committing.
Sessions are online-only and currently open to South Carolina residents.
