About me
Hasan Minhaj said on one of this stand-ups that therapy is like "talking to a best friend you don't have to care about.
I work with ages 12+, strongly support LGBTQ+, and make sessions feel like a conversation with a friend.
A significant piece of feedback I get from clients is that they not only look forward to our appointments, but it feels truly conversational and as if talking to a friend. I am not going to be textbooky, instead you are going to get a person who can relate, be real, and also highlight what you're already doing well and ways to tweak towards progress. I am a dedicated ally for the LGBTQ+ community and committed to engaging in open, honest conversations about anti-racism and politics.
I am a listener, we'll laugh, we will cry, and we will just meet you right where you are. I like to explore how your childhood relationships and perspectives of the world shape what's challenging you today.
I am also prior military and am trauma-informed. I am a safe space to talk about suicidal ideation and self-injury. Find me on Rula (KAISER), Alma, and Headway.
