About me
"I am dedicated to helping children, women, and pre-licensed clinicians discover their path to happiness, contentment, and overall wellness!"
Hi! I am Brandi, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with a PhD in Infant and Early Childhood Development w/an emphasis in Mental Health & Developmental Disorders. I am highly passionate about treating children ages 0-10, adult women, and working with pre-licensed therapists! When working with your child, I can offer therapy for trauma, social/emotional skills, anxiety, depression, selective mutism, ADHD, and much more. If you are an adult woman seeking support, you've come to the right place! I treat women struggling with women's issues which can include: self-esteem, self-exploration, divorce, dating, stress management, perfectionism, career/educational coaching, imposter syndrome, parenting, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, pregnancy/infant loss, infertility, menopause, empty nest syndrome, and interpersonal relationship challenges. I take an eclectic approach to working with all clients and utilize modalities and interventions that fit the client, rather than trying to make the client fit a specific modality. For children, I tend to use a combination of Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Art Therapy, Nature Therapy, Animal Assisted Therapy, FirstPlay, TheraPlay, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Developmental Therapy. For adults, I lean towards Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Coaching and traditional Talk Therapy. My practice offers in-person therapy for children living in the Santa Ynez Valley and telehealth therapy for women in the State of California. My goal for therapy is that you feel comfortable and have fun (yes, that's right, therapy can and should be a fun experience!). I cannot wait to meet you and support you in finding a more peaceful lifepath and mental wellbeing!
