About me

I have worked many years in the hospital and outpatient clinics, being an RN since 1995, with last 8 yrs as an RN at Mayo Clinic, Phoenix. I am a dual certified nurse practitioner in Family Practice and Psychiatry managing patients from age 14 through adulthood in general neurology and psychiatry since 2014. I am an ADHD certified clinical services provider, specializing in adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I also provide headache and migraine management and also work with patients that have found typical antidepressants unhelpful, those with Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD). I am trained in the use of Ketamine and Esketamine, as well as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for those suffering from TRD. I truly enjoy working with patients with Multiple Sclerosis and TRD. MS is a complicated neurological disease, psychiatric treatment options are limited, but I have found Ketamine and/or TMS very effective and these options do not interfere with DMT for their MS.

In my 29 years of nursing I have served with the same basic philosophy, that it is an honor to be able/allowed to help my patients heal. I am very mindful and appreciative for the opportunity to help them learn about their disease/disorder, and how to best manage or possibly overcome it. I believe the key steps in helping someone to heal is to be an active listener, ensure I have correctly understood my patient’s goals for treatment, and to explain and ensure my patients understand how we work together to get them well. I am a USAF veteran with 8 years served. I am a wife of 29 years, mother of 4 grown children, 2 grandchildren and 1 dog. I am credentialed with most major insurances. I practice in Phoenix, AZ . Our general psychiatry clinic serves patients from age 5 to 99. We offer medication management, psychotherapy, services for Treatment Resistant Depression, group therapies (Ketamine and Esketamine treatments, both are offered with Ketamine assisted therapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation). We accept most major insurances.
