Hi, my name is Betsie Cieslak, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have dedicated my practice to working with children from ages 0 – 18 years to young adults. I use a strengths-based approach and provide a warm and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable opening up about difficult emotions and experiences. I work with each individual’s unique needs and circumstances to help guide and assist in improving their overall well-being.
The clients I work with have a range of diagnoses including but not limited to ADHD, Autism, depression, anxiety, anger issues, and mood disorders. I treat individuals who have experienced or struggle with impulsivity, social skills, interpersonal relationships, self-confidence, emotional regulation, emotional distress, anger, self-harm, suicidal ideation, neglect, abuse, abandonment, foster care, and adoption, amongst others.
I use person-centered, evidence-based treatment modalities to assess, diagnose, and treat. I provide a safe environment and objective viewpoint to help clients feel comfortable talking about their life circumstances. Clients see improvement with symptoms including lower levels of anxiety, depression, and anger. Clients build skills to identify and manage symptoms in future situations. Clients process traumas, learn emotional regulation, and feel stable in relationships.
