About me

Therapy can be meaningful without feeling stiff or painfully formal. I offer warm, practical support to help adults understand themselves, untangle old patterns, and find ways forward that actually fit their lives.

Good therapy should feel like a real conversation with someone who is paying attention, asking thoughtful questions, and helping you notice patterns that can be difficult to see when you’re living inside them.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, and times when life has simply become a lot. Some people come to therapy wanting practical tools they can use right away. Others want to understand patterns that have followed them for years. Often, it’s a little of both.

My style is warm, straightforward, and collaborative. I’m also a wife, mom, and grandma, and I bring a perspective of someone who has lived through more than one season of adulthood -not just studied it. You won’t be expected to arrive with a perfectly organized agenda or know exactly where to begin. We’ll figure that out together.

As someone who understands neurodivergence firsthand, I know that a different kind of brain may need a different kind of approach -not another suggestion to buy a planner and try harder.

I have advanced training in trauma and complex PTSD, and I approach trauma work with care, flexibility, and respect for your pace. We can explore how past experiences may still be shaping your present without pushing you to revisit everything before you’re ready. Many of the responses people struggle with developed for a reason -even when they’re no longer helping in quite the same way.

I draw from CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, IFS, and EMDR-informed approaches, depending on what is useful for you. Therapy isn’t about turning you into a different person. It’s about understanding yourself more fully, deciding what is and isn’t working anymore, and finding ways to move through life that feel more manageable and more genuinely yours.
