About me

My clinical focus is supporting neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults. I work with individuals and families navigating trauma, big feelings, emotional regulation challenges, and life transitions through a neurodivergent-affirming lens. I believe that feeling stuck or lost can happen at any stage of life—and no one has to navigate it alone.

Are you feeling stuck or maybe a little lost along the path? You are not alone! Hi, I am Beth, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker focused on neurodivergence in children, and adults. I focus on trauma, Big Feelings, and other life experiences from a neurodivergent lens. I'd love to meet you and your family wherever you are in life's journey. I believe that each person needs different things, and together, we can find the best approach for you. I utilize a combination of DBT, polyvagal theory, and Play Therapy to address the unique needs of each individual and family. Feel free to reach out- we look forward to hearing from you!

Having a trusting relationship with clients is key to empowerment and growth in therapy. My goal is to help you feel confident and in control of your life. Many of these negative feelings are merely symptoms of neglected aspects of ourselves. I want to work with you to get to the core of the problem and interpret what your body is trying to tell you.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from UNC-G, with minors in American Sign Language and Deaf Advocacy. I received my Master of Social Work degree from NCSU. I am LGBT+ affirming and a part of the community myself. My partner has Autism and I have ADHD, which gives me unique perspectives. My favorite thing to do is get lost in a good book.
