About me
I enjoy working with individuals to better help them gain an understanding of themselves. I hope to be able to join you or a loved on a path of self-discovery. I believe whether for yourself or a child, the goal is developing a therapeutic relationship and creating a safe and non-judgmental environment to make change.
Finding a therapist you feel will be a good fit is always a difficult process. I imagine you're going through endless amounts of nearly identical looking pages and google searches in order to find a therapist you feel will you'll have a connection with. It's an incredibly daunting task to search through all the pages and hope you find a therapist that you believe will be non-judgmental and trustworthy. How do you trust that out of all the countless web pages, you can find a therapist who is honest, non-judgmental, and safe for either yourself or someone you care deeply about. Maybe it can be helpful if I share about my background.
I've been lucky to have gained a wide range of experiences and I believe this has allowed me to be comfortable with a variety of demographics/diagnoses. I've been fortunate to have worked in multiple treatment settings that treat for trauma, eating disorders, mental health, personality disorders, family of origin issues, and substance use disorders.
I'd like to think that I'm able to best serve those struggling with self-worth, trauma, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, anger, and substance use. My main goal is for us to develop a therapeutic relationship that is honest, non-judgmental, trusting, and safe. If you believe that I can help you or a loved one, please don't hesitate to reach out.
