About me
Dr. Perez is a LBTQIA+ affirming and trauma-informed therapist offering telehealth services to clients seeking help in navigating sexuality and gender expression. In our work together, we explore personal development, cooping skills, communication skills, and more.
Dr. Perez works to help LGBQIA+ people navigate personal development, relationship issues, coping with anxiety and depression, as well as exploring sexuality and gender expression. Telehealth services are offered for clients in both Florida and New York. Trauma-informed and LGTQIA+ affirming approaches are used in the therapy process with Dr. Perez. She aims to help clients find healthy ways to explore self-expression and personal growth in a welcoming environment.
Her approach to therapy is one that involves the client at every step of the way. This collaboration is aimed at inviting clients to work on their present concerns in an environment that will involve acceptance and encouragement. Humor, pop culture, and other fun things often make it into sessions with her! Processing past trauma, how to cope with anxiety/depression, navigating neurodivergence in personal relationships and more are just a few of the topics of focus with clients.
