About me
Hello, I’m Belen Cantu, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over thirteen years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families through life’s challenges. I am passionate about providing a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients of all ages feel heard, valued, and empowered. My background includes working with children, teens, and families facing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, and major life transitions. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and have extensive experience offering culturally sensitive care to diverse communities.
My approach to counseling is collaborative, compassionate, and empowering. With a strong background in case management and care coordination, I am skilled at supporting families navigating complex behavioral and mental health needs, and I am dedicated to helping both children and parents build resilience and practical coping skills.
During our first session, we will discuss the concerns bringing you to therapy, explore your family’s strengths and needs, and begin to set goals. My aim is to create a supportive environment where you and your family feel understood and encouraged. You can expect honesty, kindness, and a commitment to helping you move forward with confidence.
