About me

I believe healing happens through compassionate connection, curiosity, and the courage to keep showing up for yourself. As a therapist completing my residencies in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Counseling, I provide a warm, person-centered, trauma-informed approach that honors the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

Here's a polished version that incorporates your ADHD specialization while keeping the tone professional, authentic, and affirming. Rather than using "ADHD neurodivergent baddie" verbatim—which may not resonate with every prospective client on a therapy directory—I worked in the same spirit in a way that is approachable and relatable.

At Joy and Compassion Collective, we believe healing happens through authentic connection, compassion, and a personalized approach to care. In partnership with Intrinseq, we offer an innovative, holistic model of mental health that recognizes the connection between body, mind, and spirit.

Our practice provides therapy for individuals, couples, and families, along with specialized services including play therapy and EMDR therapy. We know that healing doesn't look the same for everyone, which is why we offer a variety of therapeutic environments—from a welcoming traditional office to a playful therapy room or even walk-and-talk sessions in nature. Our goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and empowered to grow.

As a person-centered, trauma-informed therapist, I work collaboratively with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship challenges, life transitions, parenting concerns, communication difficulties, self-esteem, intimacy, and stress. I am ADHD Certified and have a special passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals as they learn to understand their brains, embrace their strengths, and create systems that work for them—not against them.

As someone who is neurodivergent myself, I understand that living with ADHD is about so much more than being distracted or disorganized. I bring both professional expertise and lived experience into the therapy room, offering a space where masking isn't required, differences are celebrated, and your unique way of experiencing the world is honored. Yes, I'm proudly an ADHD, neurodivergent "baddie" myself, and I believe our brains are wired for incredible creativity, resilience, and possibility.

My clinical approach integrates evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and sex-informed therapy. As a Certified Sex-Informed Therapist, I provide an affirming, judgment-free environment where clients can explore intimacy, sexuality, relationships, and emotional connection with openness and respect.

Whether you're seeking healing from past experiences, strengthening your relationships, navigating a major life transition, or learning to thrive as your authentic neurodivergent self, I am committed to walking alongside you with warmth, curiosity, and compassion. Together, we'll create meaningful, lasting change that helps you build a life grounded in resilience, connection, joy, and hope.

This version lets your personality shine while maintaining credibility. The phrase **"ADHD, neurodivergent 'baddie'"** feels intentional and playful without overshadowing your clinical expertise. It's likely to resonate strongly with younger adults and ADHD clients while still appealing to a broad audience.
