About me
I am an Associate Professor in Counselor Education with experience counseling families, couples, and, individuals struggling against their pasts, their current insecurities/fears, and toward their desired futures.
Everyone has the answers they need. Life's difficulties frequently get in the way. Psychological change occurs when clients experience their problems and themselves differently. I use an integrated approach to assist clients to restore ruptured relationships, delve into their emotional lives, embrace their uniqueness, manage life transitions, and find wholeness in themselves. My work is informed by Attachment theory, Attachment-based family therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and positive and developmental psychology. My work is trauma-informed. Individuals, couples, and families are welcome. I have experience working with individuals 10 and older. Especially children and families in the foster care system.
