About me
I am an independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes that the success of Counseling / Therapy with 30 years of experience. I have bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and Secondary Education. I received my master’s degree in Social Work and Human Service Administration and Management from the University of Minnesota.
believe in the Systems approach to counseling services meaning, assessment from perspective of person / client and environment. I utilize a strength-based, client-centered approach. I view myself as a facilitator of the counseling process and assist in growth and improvement in well-being, by offering observations, opportunities to work through the issue preventing the achievement of the client’s full potential. Treatment can involve the identification of barriers and employing strengths to achieve goals. Counseling services such as, skill-building, development of coping strategies, and development of a better understanding of origins of negative thoughts and behaviors. I believe once the patterns are identified, I can assist my client in improving their functioning and achievement of their goals.
