About me
I am a compassionate psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals and couples strengthen relationships, navigate life transitions, heal from difficult experiences, and develop healthier patterns of connection. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in helping clients build greater self-awareness, emotional wellness, and meaningful change.
I became a therapist because I have always been drawn to understanding people—not simply what they do, but why they do it. I am fascinated by the ways our earliest relationships, life experiences, family systems, and environments shape how we see ourselves, how we protect ourselves, and how we connect with others. Over time, I realized that helping people understand those connections and create meaningful change was more than an interest; it was the work I wanted to dedicate myself to.
As a therapist, I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, communication difficulties, attachment concerns, intimacy, emotional disconnection, life transitions, and recurring relational patterns. I believe that many of the ways we respond to conflict, vulnerability, and connection developed for a reason. Sometimes, however, the very patterns that once helped us adapt or feel protected no longer serve us in our current lives and relationships.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is one of the primary modalities that informs my work, particularly with couples. EFT allows us to look beneath the surface of conflict and move beyond simply focusing on who said or did what. Together, we explore the emotions, attachment needs, fears, and patterns driving the interaction. This approach can help partners interrupt painful cycles, communicate from a more vulnerable and authentic place, rebuild emotional safety, and develop a stronger sense of connection with one another.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, compassionate, and direct. I value creating a space where you do not have to perform, have the “right” words, or arrive with everything figured out. I want you to feel comfortable bringing your whole self into the room.
Ultimately, I believe therapy is about more than managing symptoms. It is an opportunity to develop greater self-awareness, understand the experiences and relationships that have shaped you, recognize patterns that may no longer serve you, and intentionally create something different. Whether you are seeking a deeper understanding of yourself or working to strengthen your relationship, my goal is to help you move toward greater emotional safety, connection, and meaningful, lasting change.
