I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for over 25 years. I work with couples and individuals facing challenges with relationships, emotional stagnation, and compulsive behaviors.

We face myriad of relational and emotional challenges from childhood to adult years. When the right support to deal with these challenges is not available to us, we compensate by activating parts of our Self that may manifest themselves as anger, control, anxiety, depression, trauma reactions, compulsive behaviors, etc. As a result, relationships with others, as well as with ourselves, suffer. My goal is to create a safe and caring space where these adaptations are addressed, and to guide you through healing these parts and provide you with tools to be more emotionally aware and connected. You will learn to live with more harmony in the present, and build stronger relationships.
Achieving a greater understanding of unhealthy adaptations, building the foundation for change, and promoting relationality are my focus when I work with you. As a therapist, I draw from my trainings and years of experience to guide you to make changes that can lead to a more fulfilling life.
I am a Certified RLT (Relational Life Therapy) therapist, IFS (Internal Family System), CBT-informed (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EMDR trained therapist, and an approved provider for gambling treatment through California Office of Problem Gambling.
