I have openings in both of my virtual DBT skills training groups. I also have openings for new supervisees and interns. I am not accepting new clients for individual therapy.

I have experience and training in helping children and adults who face co-occurring disorders. These include substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder.

I am a psychotherapist licensed in Maine and Florida. I have experience providing individual and group counseling and enjoy helping individuals move towards growth and healing. I believe having an emphasis on collaboration and creating a nonjudgmental space is essential for fostering trust and facilitating meaningful therapeutic work. I believe in treating the whole individual and not just the “symptoms”.

My approach to treatment planning is a person-centered approach, meaning allowing clients to voice the areas they wish to work on in therapy. Therapeutic modalities used typically include person-centered, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.

I am currently providing telehealth services only. For Maine, I am contracted with MaineCare, Medicare, Maine Community Health Options, Cigna, Aetna, Anthem, and United Healthcare. Individuals with other private insurances can be provided an itemized bill/"super bill" to seek reimbursement from the insurance company or to go towards the deductible. For Florida, I am in network with United Healthcare and Florida Blue.

Counseling is an excellent way to learn skills, develop self-awareness and confidence, practice new behaviors, and better understand how to cope with some of the issues/concerns life presents.
