Ashley Houchin, PsyD

I am a an experienced psychologist who is dedicated to treating women with ADHD, Autism, and other learning differences. I have extensive experience in diagnosing, treating, and supporting individuals across the lifespan with a variety of diagnoses. My specialization focuses primarily on ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, and Depression. I also have experience treating trauma, substance use, grief/loss, OCD, sensory processing disorder, eating disorder, and supporting parents. I am the owner and supervising clinician at my own private practice.

We believe that empowered people strengthen their family and community. Our mission is to provide culturally sensitive, evidence-based treatments that focus on improving relationships. With specialized experience treating individuals of all ages, we are passionate about supporting parents and providing tools to empower families. We offer individual therapy, diagnostic evaluation, and family support. We approach our understanding of people from a relational perspective, rooted in neuroscience. We lean on teachings from attachment theory, feminist theory, and mindfulness practices in our work. This means that we view an individual as functioning within the context of their family of origin, their culture, and their current relationships. We also consider the impact of neuro-divergence and explore personal strengths, and of course, areas of growth. As we incorporate mindfulness practices in the moment of therapy, these techniques allow us to identify significant feelings in session. Learning to identify our big feelings is the first step forward on the journey toward healing.
