About me
As your therapist, my approach is relational, empathetic, and grounded in understanding the unique experiences that have shaped your life. I recognize that no two people are the same, and I want you to feel truly seen—and comfortable letting me know if I ever miss the mark. My style is collaborative, and together we will create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns without judgment. In our sessions, you can expect to build deeper self-awareness, strengthen your relationships, and develop practical tools to manage symptoms and navigate life with greater confidence.
One of my greatest strengths is that I show up as warm, personable, and genuinely human. I believe the most important tool in the therapy room is our relationship, so I take the time to build trust and meaningful rapport with you. I also draw from my own lived experience to inform my counseling approach and to help you feel less alone in your struggles. Creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing atmosphere is at the heart of my work, as I see these as the foundation for meaningful and lasting growth.
Welcome—I’m Ashley Astorini, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rider University in 2020 and have gained experience across a variety of settings, including partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, and private practice. I believe everyone deserves compassionate care and a space where they feel truly safe and heard in order to begin the healing process. Whether you are navigating life after trauma, coping with loss, struggling with relationships or self-esteem, or managing anxiety or depression, I am here to support you. Together, we can process the past, build practical tools to enhance your quality of life, and create meaningful, positive change.
