About me

I am a LPC Associate (under the supervision of Beth Clardy Lewis, LPC-S) at Vervewell Counseling, serving the Fort Worth Near Southside community with a focus on Neurodivergence and Autism Counseling. I help individuals move forward when they feel “stuck” by blending Existential Therapy with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This approach prioritizes mindfulness and values-based action to help clients build a more intentional life. My background includes extensive experience supporting domestic violence survivors, individuals with disabilities, families, and university students.

Specialties:
- Existentialism Therapy
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Relational healing and trauma relief
- Individuals with disabilities
- Neurodivergence with a focus on late-diagnosed autism
- Adolescent mental health
- Grief and loss therapy

My therapy philosophy is based in existentialism, which is a lens that focuses on personal freedom, living authentically, and crafting meaning for ourselves. Often, I’ll pair existentialism with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which encourages freedom of choice through increased mindfulness and self-awareness of our own values. That said, I try to be holistic in my approach, as humans are dynamic and wonderfully complicated. Wellness is not a box we can cram ourselves into; it is a discovery process that is lifelong and unique to all of us.

I integrate Existential Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into my work because both approaches help clients better understand themselves and create a life that feels meaningful and authentic. While Existential Therapy explores the deeper questions that shape our experiences, including meaning, purpose, identity, and the choices we make - ACT helps clients build a healthier relationship with their thoughts and emotions by learning to make space for difficult experiences while moving toward what matters most. I use these approaches because healing is not just about reducing symptoms—it is about understanding yourself more deeply and learning how to move through life with greater intention.
