About me
As a therapist, my deepest intention is to create a warm and welcoming environment where you feel truly supported and understood. I want you to know that I am here for you with a non-judgmental approach. Through gentle and calm conversations, I will actively listen and reflect your feelings back to you, helping to ensure that you feel safe and free to express yourself. I love using motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, reality therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy in my work! They’re great tools for helping others.
I have a license in mental health and counseling and in my doctorate studies, focusing on traumatology. Integrative and innovative measures are my approach to helping you meet your treatment goals. Not all wounds are visible and I am ready to partner with you to go on this journey. I have been working with adults and children in a mental health setting for 15 years. I am married with two kids and they all keep me energized. When utilizing different types of therapeutic practices, I believe it is best to use different strategies that are tailored to the person I am working with.
