About me
I am a psychologist who is willing to accompany you on your journey of empowerment and growth.
You have probably scrolled through so many therapists at this point and are wondering, "how am I going to find the right therapist at this rate?" Stop for a second and take a deep breath. Remind yourself that the fact you are here, trying to get help, is courageous and brave. You are strong, you will find help, and each week you will become better than the week before. Clinically, I conceptualize, provide coping skills, and create treatment plans primarily from a cognitive behavioral therapy approach. I believe that from an individual's childhood experiences, one inevitably creates core beliefs that influence one's thoughts,
emotions, and behaviors. In my sessions, I use a strength-based and interpersonal approach in helping clients achieve their goals. I have worked with domestic violence survivors, high school students, patients in psychiatric wards, parolees, and inmates. I have seen the most vulnerable people still find the resiliency to continue to grow.
In a typical session, I will learn about your strengths and your relationships. I value your feedback with the goal to continue tailoring my treatment towards you. Call or email me and we can start with a free 15 minute consultation so you can decide if I can be a part of your journey. In addition, I offer family/couples therapy (cash only) as well as psychological testing (more insurances accepted, contact me for details).
