Anthony Cameron, MA, LPC

Anthony Cameron is an experienced Counselor with a demonstrated history of working in the mental health care industry providing counseling, psychotherapy, supervision, consultation, and training. Skilled in working with adults struggling with the following issues: trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and grief and loss.

Anthony Cameron received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 1996 and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Prescott College in 2005. Anthony has been involved in mental and behavioral health services since 1998. He has published multiple journal articles, including “Trauma Focused Presence” in the Journal of Humanistic Psychology (November 2019) and "Existential Therapy and the Contextual Model: Unified by Presence, Flexibility, and Meaning-Making" in the International Journal of Psychotherapy Practice and Research. Anthony is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. He is also designated as a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional. Anthony is a member of the Existential Humanistic Institute (EHI) and holds certification in existential humanistic therapy. He is also certified in cognitive behavioral therapy. In addition to being a Counselor, Anthony is a husband, father, and stepfather. He enjoys reading, music, movies, traveling and art. He also likes to exercise, play soccer, go out to eat and enjoy the outdoors. Tucson has been Anthony’s home for most of his life.
