About me
Often, the wounds of our past, particularly those from childhood, can resurface in our lives, manifesting as isolation and fear. My goal is to create a safe space for you, a place where you can feel secure and understood, and equip you with the tools to heal these tender parts. I work with individual adults, teens, couples, and families, focusing on communication, conflict resolution, and identity formation. I also work with couples who are navigating fears and reservations around emotional and physical intimacy. I welcome clients who wish to incorporate Christian faith into their therapy.
I use Brainspotting which is another similar modality to EMDR, which is used in processing trauma. If you feel stuck in a feeling, reaction, trigger response, this is a great tool that expedited the healing process.
I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and experiential therapy. CBT, a proven method, helps reframe thought patterns to healthy ones, while experiential therapy aids in experiencing thoughts and emotions in the present moment, leading to a sense of being heard and seen.
My passion lies in helping clients navigate a range of challenges, from communication and conflict resolution to identity, culture, anxiety, and spirituality. As a trilingual Bay area resident fluent in English, Assyrian, and Farsi, I am equipped to assist a diverse backgrounds.
