About me
I am a Ph.D.-level Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience treating children, teens, adults, and families facing a range of emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal concerns.
I adopt highly effective, evidence-based treatment approaches, which include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), mindfulness interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Functional Family Therapy (FFT). I have been fortunate to work in a variety of settings, including nationally-recognized hospitals, schools, private practices, and community-based health clinics.
I firmly believe in using clinical research to inform practice, and actively incorporate newly-emerging trends into my clinical techniques. I have been involved in mental health research since 2012, and have published extensively in the areas of child development, parenting, and the impact of stress on individuals’ functioning, particularly among marginalized groups.
As a former collegiate basketball player, I enjoy staying active through hiking, skiing, and resistance training. I am also an avid cook on the constant lookout for new and creative recipes!
