I am certified in (TF-CBT) Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy that helps specific emotional and mental health needs of individuals, adolescences, adult survivors and families who are struggling to overcome the destructive effects of trauma, post-traumatic stress and mood disorder resulting from, sexual, physical violence or developed post-traumatic symptoms or as the result of the loss of a loved one or exposure to violence in the home or community. I earned my Masters of Science degree in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Counseling. I hold Bachelors of Science in Human Services Management and Business Administration . My goal is to meet you where they are, and equip you to live your life to the fullest potential. I treat individuals and families that have experienced complex trauma. I utilize different approaches to help clients with sensitive and unique problems. I can assist clients that have developed symptoms of depression, anxiety, exhibits behavioral, substance abuse, and suicidal ideations. I am use Dialectical Behavioral techniques (DBT), Person Centered (PCT), Solution Focused (SFT), Play Therapy Techniques and other approaches as needed. I offer parenting approaches to assist parents with their children's behaviors or psycho-education regarding their child's diagnosis. My goal to teach parenting skills, stress-management, and healthy communication skills/ I work with diverse cultures and populations.
