About me
I am a professional counselor with over thirty years of experience in the mental health field. I specialize in helping clients cope with anxiety , anger, and depression.
I have a virtual-only practice where I work with clients using an eclectic approach that blends CBT with Narrative and Existential therapy. I help clients understand how events in our lives can trigger unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and physical responses that often lead to actions we regret. We will explore ways to identify unhelpful thoughts, manage physical reactions, and begin to understand the root of core beliefs, often rooted in our past, that feed our distress. Reframing negative automatic thoughts and rewriting our understanding of past beliefs often leads to a more positive outlook and more nuanced emotional reactions.
