About me
Whether you're struggling with past trauma, processing grief, managing anxiety, or working through depression, I'm here to provide compassionate support tailored to your specific needs. I welcome the opportunity to work with you and help you discover your inner strength and resilience on your healing journey.
I see my role as a clinician as a supportive guide, acknowledging that you are the expert in your own life. As a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma, grief, depression, and anxiety, I bring experience from five and a half years as a School Counselor throughout Georgia, followed by private practice work with clients ranging from 5 to 75 years old. I hold a bachelor's in Art History, African Studies, and Psychology from the College of Charleston and a Master's of Education in School Counseling from the University of Virginia.
My approach integrates Humanistic principles, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness practices, and Solution-Focused techniques to help you discover your goals with unconditional positive regard. I have extensive experience working with depression, trauma, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and other concerns across all age groups. Together, we'll focus on developing effective coping skills, building self-confidence, and improving conflict resolution—creating a path forward that honors your unique journey toward healing and growth.
Whether you're struggling with past trauma, processing grief, managing anxiety, or working through depression, I'm here to provide compassionate support tailored to your specific needs. I welcome the opportunity to work with you and help you discover your inner strength and resilience on your healing journey.
