About me
I am a clinical social worker specializing in serious illness, grief, caregiving issues and the end of life.
I'm Anne-Marie, a licensed clinical social worker. My background in oncology, hospice, and palliative care especially prepares me to support folks through life changing illness, chronic pain, the end of life, and grief, but I've provided counseling and therapy in a variety of settings to clients of all ages with all sorts of problems. I find joy from connection with my family and friends, and from Rosie Dangercat and Percy, our four-legged companions. I love to be outside and I love to knit.
Above all, it is my privilege to witness your story and walk along the path with you for a little while. I draw inspiration from a number of different methods, but we will tailor our work together to create a process that works for you. Expect to talk about what brings you joy, where your strength lies, and to learn and practice a variety of strategies for tolerating distress and coping with hard situations. We will be creative and flexible, and work to find your resilience.
