I am a licensed clinical social worker and certified clinical trauma professional dedicated to helping teens and adults cope with anxiety, life stressors, trauma, and grief.

Whether you are new to therapy or you are a veteran-if you are looking for a safe space to express yourself and be understood; this is the space for that. As an African American woman, I am uniquely aware of the stress and difficulties that people of color face and I am passionate about reaching those within the BIPOC community. I work with clients to help them to navigate various stressors and build healthy coping skills so they can feel better and begin to live their lives to their fullest extent. My approach to therapy is eclectic, as I believe that treatment should be informed by the needs of each client. I draw from various models including psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and I use some skills from Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral therapies as these models help me to have a better understanding of my clients and our work.
I strive to create a warm and safe space for my clients to feel comfortable expressing and being themselves in therapy.
