I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is dedicated to helping my clients improve their relationships with themselves, their families, and their community.

My approach focuses on helping you heal from past experiences, build resilience, and pursue lasting change so that you can live a life that you truly love. I ask good questions, I offer guidance on how to use practical tools, and I care about you as a whole person. I provide individual counseling for teens and adults, as well as for couples.

Faith Informed
My faith is an important aspect of why I am a counselor, and I am specifically trained on how and how not to incorporate aspects of my client’s faith in sessions (when they choose to do so). I adhere to the ASERVIC competencies when integrating faith and spirituality into counseling.

Relational
I am a relational therapist, which means that I believe healing happens through connection to other people, and one of those relationships where healing can happen is the therapeutic relationship.

Evidence-Based
My approach to counseling draws from several evidence based models, including Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I talk openly with my clients about the techniques I am using and the “why” behind its effectiveness. Additionally, I am trained in the Gottman Method of Couples Counseling.
