About me
I am a seasoned therapist specializing in helping adults learn effective coping skills through the DBT model to address dysregulation, interpersonal conflict and thought disturbances.
Hello there. There may be a million reasons as to what led you to seek care and support at this time. Whatever your reason for searching out options for therapy is, I am glad that you are here. My approach to therapy is not a "one size fits all" model; but rather an integrative, holistic and clinical evidenced based framework to guide discovery to your authentic self and help provide a better understanding of connection to inner truth, to mind and body, and nurture the process of reinvesting back into you.
I would consider myself a seasoned therapist with specialities that focus on intra and interpersonal dysregulation, thought disturbances and building new pathways for effectiveness. I have experience practicing in the field of clinical social work in communities, in residential detox facilities and outpatient settings with older adolescents and adults. My experience ranges from high-risk crisis management and dual diagnosis (mood disorders, substance use, etc) direct treatment to comprehensive assessments and integrative case management. I facilitate two DBT skills group that I'd invite you to consider as part of your journey. Additionally, I am offering clinical supervision to LCSWAs and support other clinicians in their practice.
I have completed intensive specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy from Behavioral Tech, an intensive course founded by Dr. Marsha Linehan who is the formulator of DBT. Due to my experience with DBT, there are options of engaging in the full DBT-model and DBT-modified treatment. I am more recently trained in Radically Open DBT treatment methods.
If you are willing to take the next step, please reach out to schedule a complimentary consult to determine if it would be a good fit for your needs.
