About me
Experienced Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping adults navigate trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions with clarity, confidence, and resilience.
Ann is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. Her clinical background includes work in corrections, with children and adolescents, in substance use treatment settings, and in private practice. She works with adults facing trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, divorce, self-esteem concerns, and major life transitions, with specialized experience supporting women and veterans.
Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based care. She is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Trauma Tapping Technique (TTT), integrating these modalities to help clients process trauma, strengthen relationships, and build confidence and practical coping skills. She offers both in-person and telehealth sessions to provide flexible, accessible support. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her children, and relaxing at home with her two cats.
