Clinical Supervision for LPC Associates & LSOTP Associates
I provide clinical supervision for LPC Associates and LSOTP Associates in Texas. Supervision is an important part of developing as a competent, ethical, confident, and effective clinician. My approach to supervision is collaborative, supportive, educational, and individualized to the supervisee's professional development.
For LPC Associates, supervision can address clinical skill development, case conceptualization, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, ethical decision-making, professional identity, counseling techniques, crisis intervention, and development of confidence as an independent clinician.
For LSOTP Associates, I offer supervision informed by extensive experience working with individuals who have engaged in sexually inappropriate or harmful behaviors. Supervision may include treatment planning, risk assessment, relapse prevention, cognitive-behavioral interventions, motivational interviewing, impulse control, self-regulation, accountability, boundaries, documentation, and professional ethics.
My goal is not simply to help associates complete their supervision requirements. I want to help clinicians become thoughtful, competent, ethical, and confident professionals who can provide quality services to the people they serve.
Counseling Services
I provide counseling to individuals, couples, and families, working with both adults and children/adolescents.
I have experience working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma-related concerns, behavioral concerns, substance use issues, life transitions, and other mental health challenges.
My counseling approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, family systems approaches, and practical skill development. I believe treatment should be individualized because every client brings a unique history, set of strengths, challenges, and goals to counseling.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety or depression, experiencing relationship difficulties, navigating a major life change, or simply feeling stuck, counseling can provide a place to better understand what is happening and develop strategies for moving forward.
Experience
My professional experience includes outpatient counseling, clinical supervision, forensic mental health, substance use treatment, crisis intervention, sexual behavior treatment, juvenile services, correctional mental health, and work with individuals and families.
