About me
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps children, teens, and adults navigate life’s challenges with a compassionate, whole-person approach, while creating a safe, supportive space where you can heal, grow, and thrive.
Hello, I’m Anjanette McCullar, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a strong background in education, counseling, and wellness. My path to counseling has been shaped by more than 15 years of working with children, adolescents, families, and communities—as a teacher, school counselor, group facilitator, and now therapist.
I hold multiple degrees, including a Master’s in School Counseling and a Master’s in Educational Administration, along with specialized training in counseling, restorative yoga, and children’s yoga. This blend of education and wellness training allows me to approach therapy from a holistic perspective—supporting not only your mental and emotional well-being, but also recognizing how physical health, lifestyle, and environment influence your life.
In my counseling work, I draw on my experience in both school and community settings to help clients navigate challenges such as life transitions, grief and loss, relationship dynamics, anxiety, self-esteem, and stress management. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I work to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
Because of my background in athletics, coaching, and wellness practices, I also integrate mindfulness, movement, and practical coping strategies when they align with your needs and goals. Whether we’re exploring patterns in relationships, developing tools for self-regulation, or setting steps toward personal change, I tailor my approach to fit you as a whole person.
Above all, my goal is to meet you where you are, help you discover your strengths, and walk alongside you as you move toward healing and a more fulfilling life.
