About me
I help individuals and couples rebuild emotional, physical, and sexual intimacy by overcoming emotional disconnection and strengthening communication.
Do you feel like you’re having the same conversation over and over—but somehow hearing each other less each time?
Perhaps you and your partner love each other, yet you feel emotionally distant. Maybe your communication keeps breaking down, physical intimacy has declined, or you’re wondering why your good intentions never seem to come across the way you meant them.
I specialize in helping individuals and couples rebuild emotional, physical, and sexual intimacy by understanding what’s happening beneath the conflict—not just solving the argument itself.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, relationship therapist, intimacy coach, author, and creator of The Hurting Ear / Healed Ear Listening Method™, I help clients recognize how past experiences, emotional wounds, and nervous system responses shape the way they hear, interpret, and respond to one another. When people feel emotionally safe enough to truly hear each other, healthier communication and deeper connection become possible.
Many of the people I work with are successful in other areas of life but feel discouraged in their relationships. They often tell me things like:
* “We keep having the same argument.”
* “My partner doesn’t understand what I’m trying to say.”
* “We’ve become roommates instead of romantic partners.”
* “I miss feeling emotionally close.”
* “We love each other, but something feels disconnected.”
Together, we’ll slow those moments down, identify the patterns keeping you stuck, and develop practical ways to reconnect emotionally, physically, and relationally.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct. Rather than assigning blame, I help clients understand the meaning beneath their reactions so they can communicate with greater empathy, clarity, and confidence. Whether you’re healing from past relationship wounds, navigating life transitions, rebuilding trust, or simply wanting to strengthen your relationship, therapy can become a place where meaningful and lasting change begins.
I integrate evidence-based approaches—including CBT, EFT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic principles—to tailor treatment to your unique goals while creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.
If you’re ready to move beyond repeating the same painful patterns and begin creating the relationship you truly want, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
