About me

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience providing trauma-informed individual therapy for adults navigating childhood, relational, and religious trauma, as well as major life transitions. I offer a calm, compassionate space to help you understand what you’ve been carrying and move forward with greater clarity, connection, and peace.

I work with adults who feel impacted by past experiences that continue to shape their thoughts, relationships, or sense of self today. Many of my clients come in feeling stuck, caught in old patterns rooted in family dynamics, belief systems, or relationships that no longer fit.
You might be:
• Processing childhood or developmental trauma
• Struggling with relationship patterns, boundaries, or trust
• Healing from religious trauma or faith-related harm
• Navigating life transitions such as identity shifts, relationship changes, or major decisions
• Feeling anxious, self-critical, disconnected, or overwhelmed without fully knowing why

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.
IFS helps us understand the different “parts” of ourselves that carry fear, shame, anger, or self-protection—often developed in response to trauma or difficult experiences. Rather than trying to eliminate these parts, we work with them compassionately so healing and change can happen from within.
Therapy with me is:
• Nonjudgmental and affirming
• Parts-based and insight-oriented
• Gentle, intentional, and paced to your needs
• Focused on building internal safety, self-trust, and emotional steadiness

I strive to offer therapy that is affirming, inclusive, and grounded in respect for each person’s lived experience. I welcome clients of all identities and backgrounds and am committed to providing a space where you can show up as your full self. I work with many LGBTQIA+ clients and individuals navigating identity, spirituality, and belonging, and I approach this work with cultural sensitivity and humility. As a queer therapist who also comes from a religious background, I have personal and professional insight into the ways identity, belief systems, and relationships can collide, especially during periods of questioning, deconstruction, or change. This perspective informs my work, particularly with clients healing from religious and relational trauma. My role is not to tell you who to be or how to live, but to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and move toward a life that feels more grounded and authentic.

If you’re ready to begin, or simply curious about whether we might be a good fit, I invite you to reach out. Getting started can feel hard. You don’t have to have it all figured out to take the first step. Call, text, or email me today!
