About me
My name is Angela Udeh, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient mental health care. My experience at Parkland Hospital in Dallas and work within diverse communities has shaped my compassionate, culturally sensitive approach. I specialize in treating various psychiatric conditions with professionalism, empathy, and respect. I do not prescribe controlled substances or stimulants in Texas. Clients can expect a non-judgmental, confidential environment where their well-being is the priority. I focus on collaboration, education, and evidence-based care to create personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique goals and values.
Hello! My name is Angela Ejinwaemonu Udeh, and I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over five years of experience in psychiatric nursing. I’ve had the privilege of working in fast-paced emergency room settings, inpatient psychiatric units, and collaborative outpatient care teams, all of which have shaped my approach to mental healthcare: holistic, compassionate, and client-centered.
With a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler and multiple active nurse practitioner licenses across several states—including Texas, California, New York, Washington, and Arizona—I offer flexible and accessible care tailored to your unique needs. I am certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in both psychiatric-mental health and medical-surgical nursing, giving me a well-rounded perspective on both the psychological and physical aspects of your well-being.
In my practice, I provide a safe and judgment-free space where clients can feel heard, respected, and empowered. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, or substance use challenges, I take time to understand your story, collaborate on a personalized treatment plan, and support you with evidence-based therapies and medication management when appropriate.
Clients often describe me as empathetic, attentive, and direct. I value clear communication, trust, and consistent follow-through. My goal is not just to manage symptoms, but to help you build long-term strategies for resilience, growth, and wellness.
Thank you for considering me as a partner in your mental health journey—I’m here when you're ready to take the next step.
