About me
Angela is a U.S. Military Veteran now accepting Tricare. She is a Collaborative Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II). Highly trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). Her passion is centered on helping families move forward in a healthy, productive way with a solution-focus. Angela is passionate about working with those suffering through chronic illness and grief. Angela's goal is to help clients explore the complex dramas that occur in life to help them identify and transform negative processes and interaction patterns that are preventing progress. Angela works with adults and couples who are looking to improve communication patterns, process grief, loss, betrayal and trauma, and find stability during life's ups and downs. Angela specializes in working with those suffering from mood disorders, chronic illness and / or trauma. Ask about Angela's Premarital Counseling Workshop.
Hi, my name is Angela and I became a therapist to help people find happiness in their work, relationships, and life! I hold my MS in General Psychology from Purdue University Global and my MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. Additionally, I hold my BS in Legal Studies from Kaplan University. I am also a SHRM-CP and PHR Certified HR Professional with several years of experience coaching and guiding individuals through their career path and the challenges they have encountered along the way. With my background, education, and experience in these areas combined with my personal interest in spirituality, I believe I can help motivate others to focus, reflect, and refine their lives with confidence and self-compassion.
If you are looking for a compassionate therapist who can help you become a more motivated and productive individual, couple, or family and who understands how to help you become more resilient to change, improve self-care, find passion and purpose in your life, achieve greater communication, and adopt healthier patterns of behavior, I would love to work with you.
