About me
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel scary or overwhelming, and my goal is to make that process feel as comfortable, supportive, and safe as possible. I believe that while life can be challenging, everyone deserves the opportunity to feel happy, balanced, and thriving. I am here to support you through life’s ups and downs and help you work toward becoming the healthiest and most authentic version of yourself.
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with over 15 years of social work experience working in a variety of settings and with individuals across the lifespan, from birth through older adulthood. I have over 4 years' experience as a therapist. While I have a special connection with adolescents and members of the LGBTQ community, I truly enjoy working with clients of all backgrounds. I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.
I have experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and LGBTQIA+ related concerns. My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. I tailor treatment to meet each client’s individual needs, recognizing that therapy is not one-size-fits-all and that meaningful change happens through collaboration, trust, and a strong therapeutic relationship. I look forward to the opportunity to walk alongside you as you begin or continue your healing journey.
