About me
I provide personalized counseling to individuals and couples to help you navigate life’s challenges with confidence and support. Whether you’re facing career transitions, relationship challenges, adjusting to parenthood, or dealing with anxiety, depression, or loss, I am here to guide you through these significant life changes.
I am Angela, a therapist dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s most challenging transitions. My focus includes relationship challenges, role adaptations to parenthood, blended families, stepparenting, co-parenting with high-conflict individuals, life stage changes, depression, anxiety, and postpartum struggles. With prior experience working at a children’s hospital in Houston and the prosecutor’s office, I’ve developed a deep understanding of crisis management and support, particularly for those facing fertility issues, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Early in my career, I specialized in working with children with Autism, which helped shape my ability to connect with parents through difficult life stages.
As a wife to an NFL alumnus and mother of two and stepmother to two more, I have personal experience navigating the complexities of blended families, career transitions, and high-conflict co-parenting. This has given me a unique perspective, especially when working with families in similar situations and stepmothers in general, understanding the challenges they face both. I offer a compassionate, empathetic approach to therapy, combining professional expertise with personal insights to guide you toward positive, healthy solutions.
In my practice, I provide supportive and confidential therapy designed to help individuals build coping skills, find healing, and rediscover their potential. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, or low self-esteem, I offer evidence-based treatments to help you overcome these challenges and reclaim joy and fulfillment in your life and relationships. I also specialize in marriage and couples counseling, supporting partners in conflict resolution, improving communication, and healing from narcissistic abuse.
For those navigating family dynamics, I provide guidance for high-conflict co-parenting, step-parenting challenges, and blended family issues. I also offer parent education and emotional support for those struggling with infertility, pregnancy loss, and adjusting to parenthood. I offer support to couples facing challenging times, difficulty communicating effectively and finding joy in each other and their relationships again. If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, grief, or exhaustion, together we’ll navigate these emotions and strengthen the support system around you during these transformative moments. My goal is to provide a space where healing, growth, and positive change can take place.
