About me
I offer psychotherapy and life coaching for adults who are struggling with life transitions, grief, complex trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, codependency, and relationship conflicts.
My goal as a therapist is to meet each of my clients with compassion, empathy, and respect, and to support them in living authentic and meaningful lives. I believe that even in those moments when you feel the most broken, you possess the depth of strength and resilience that you need to overcome challenges and live with joy. I would be honored to help you find your strength and your joy.
I view therapy as a partnership. Together we will collaborate to build an approach that works for you. I care about you as a whole individual, so the approach we choose will be designed to incorporate mind, body, emotion, spirit, and sociocultural factors. I am also committed to bringing my clients tools that have been researched and shown to work. Depending on your needs and preferences, that might look like learning strategies to regulate your nervous system, processing past trauma, reframing thoughts and beliefs that aren't helpful, clarifying your goals and values, mastering tools for regulating your emotions, improving interpersonal skills, or redefining the story you have been telling yourself about your life and identity.
My clients often tell me that they feel empowered by our work together. They describe both feeling validated and making practical improvements in the areas of life where their progress had been stuck. If this is what you are looking for, please reach out to schedule a consultation. I've love to get to know you!
